There are many, many opportunities to lend a hand to Widowed Persons Service. You don’t need to be widowed yourself to contribute—you just need to have compassion and a desire to help others.
A recent needs assessment of WPS members found that many would love to participate in more diverse social activities including day trips, boat rides as well as summer and winter sports. Members
As a member, you receive the monthly newsletter, updates about WPS events, and access to all of our resources. To become a member of Widowed Persons Service, all you have to do is provide us with your contact information.
Volunteers
Getting involved as a volunteer can be very rewarding. Vounteers reach out to others and give of themselves. This organization would not exist today without such help. WPS is presently looking for volunteers for the following positions:

Donors
Donors are an invaluable part of Widowed Persons Service and our operations. Without the generous contributions we receive, we would not be able to provide the services that so many in the Greater Grand Rapids area need. All gifts are tax deductible.
